Copyright & DMCA Policy

Boost Innovation Inc. respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of Parent Mindset to do the same. This policy describes how to report alleged copyright infringement on the Service and our process for responding.

Our copyright

All content in Parent Mindset (including articles, situational guides, pathways, tools, assessments, daily insights, knowledge cards, conversation cards, software, branding, designs, and visual assets, collectively the "Materials") is the copyrighted work of Boost Innovation Inc. unless otherwise noted. No license is granted for use beyond the personal, non-commercial purposes described in our Terms of Service.

The Materials may not be reproduced, republished, aggregated, redistributed, broadcast, used to train any machine learning model, or otherwise exploited without our prior written consent. Requests for licensing, reprint, syndication, or academic use: hello@boostinnovation.ca.

Notice of alleged infringement (DMCA)

If you believe content available through Parent Mindset infringes a copyright you own or administer, you may submit a written notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512) to our designated agent. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notice;
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (such as a URL);
  4. Your contact information: address, telephone number, and email;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our designated agent. A counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number;
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, of any judicial district in which Boost Innovation may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or an agent of that person.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Canadian notice-and-notice

For copyright notices directed at users located in Canada, Boost Innovation complies with the notice-and-notice regime under the Canadian Copyright Act. We will forward compliant notices to the identified user and retain records as required by law.

Misrepresentation

Under U.S. law, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or that it was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages. Do not make false claims.
